Digital Marketing Checklist for Creatives

Whether you are in quarantine or sheltering-in-place, it is likely that you are trying to figure our how to manage your creative business online right now. Or, perhaps events or exhibitions were canceled, and you need a digital strategy for the future. Here is a checklist to help guide you.

Make sure the following are fully updated:

  • Website
  • Social media profiles across each platform you use
  • E-commerce (Etsy, Shopify, Square, or WooCommerce)
  • Blog

More thoughts on digital marketing:

Consider sending an email newsletter, reaching out to current and past clients to let them know what you can offer online right now, or your availability for projects.

  • Can you partner with a fellow creative to collaborate and cross-promote your work?
  • Can you put together on online exhibition, or take a video of a current exhibition to share across social media and your website?
  • Post consistently on social media. Think about a social media campaign with a theme that could drive clients to your website.

These are just a start, but now is the time to start thinking in terms of an online marketplace for what you do.
